Important documents

Prepare for your trip

If you’ve booked an Interjet ticket, there are some documents that will be requested at the airport at the time of check in, when going through the security checks or upon arriving to a foreign destination. Here we mention them:

  • For national flights, passengers will need an official ID with photo.
  • For international flights, passengers will be required to have a valid passport, as well as a visa or permit, if required, by the immigration authorities of the destination country.
  • The passenger is responsible for obtaining all required travel documents (passport, visas, health certificates, or other appropriate and necessary identification), including those of any children accompanied by him/her.

Interjet flies from Mexico to multiple destinations in Canada, United States, Cuba, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia and Peru. Click on the name any of these countries and learn more about their respective migratory policies.

The passenger is also responsible for complying with all travel laws, regulations, orders, and requirements of the countries to and from which they are flying and must following the instructions of Interjet and its commercial partners. Some countries require proof of return or ongoing travel, as well as the address where you will be staying during your visit and proof of sufficient funds for the duration of your stay. We recommend that you check all relevant requirements for the countries that you are visiting in order to avoid any delays. This information is available on the IATA website.

Interjet will not be liable for any consequences resulting from the failure of the passenger to obtain the necessary travel documents or from the failure to comply with the laws, regulations, orders and/or demands of countries to be flown from, into or through.
