How do I know my purchase is confirmed?

| A purchase is considered complete when full payment is made and a Confirmation Number is issued.

| Our fares are usually lower when the ticket is purchased well in advance of the departure date.

What is the deadline to purchase a ticket on the date of travel?

- For purchases through our Call Center you will need at least 4 hours.
- Directly at the airport with at least 1 (one) hour prior to departure for domestic and international flights.

Do you offer discounts for children between 2 and 12 years?

| No, children pay the same fares as adults.
|

Do I save money buying round trip fares?

| No, our pricing structure is based on one-way fares. |

What type of credit cards do you accept?
|
| We accept American Express, Visa and Master Card. Debit Cards are not accepted for purchases on our website.

When make purchases through your website, is my personal and credit card information safe?

| Yes, it is. To protect your data we use the SSL (“Secure Socket Layer”) protocol provided by VeriSign.

After making a purchase, can I make name changes on the ticket?
|
| We do allow name changes “Ticket Transfers” with a $25.00 USD fee plus taxes, per person/flight.
|

Can I change my flight’s route, date, departure time?
|
| Yes you can. We allow changes to route, date and departure time provided they are requested with at least 48 hours prior to departure. A change fee of $25.00 USD plus applicable taxes per person/flight will apply. In the event that the new fare is higher than the original fare, the difference in fare plus applicable taxes will apply. If the new fare is lower than the original fare, no refund will apply.

What documents do I need if I want fly to Mexico?
|
- U.S. citizens require a valid U. S. passport.
- Legal U.S. residents are required to present a current permanent resident card form I-551, and a valid passport.

If I’m unable to use my ticket do I get a refund?
|
| No, our fares are non-refundable
|

Are there any charges for infants under 24 months of age?
|
| One infant per adult is allowed to travel free of charge, provided the infant is seated in the parent’s lap. A second infant traveling with the same adult will be charged the adult fare, and will have an assigned seat and the standard baggage allowance.

Are there travel restrictions for women who are pregnant?
|
- Women who are 7 months pregnant must sign a Letter of Release
- Women who are 8 months pregnant must sign a Letter or Release and present a doctor’s certificate indicating that traveling by air does not represent a risk to the mother and child.

What are the travel requirements for unaccompanied minors?
|
| Minors between 5 and 17 years require written authorization from the parents or legal guardian. The authorization form can be obtained at the airline’s ticket counter.

Do you allow strollers and baby car seats onboard?
|
| Space limitations do not allow us to transport these items onboard; however, before boarding the plane airport personnel will tag and store them in the baggage compartment. Upon arrival they will be ready for pick-up as you exit the plane.

Do you allow passengers on stretchers?
|
| No, we do not offer this service.
|
|

Do you allow carrying babies in incubators?
|
| No, we do not offer this service. |

Does Interjet allow transportation of human remains?
|

Does Interjet allow transportation of pets?
|
Yes, however the following conditions need to be met :

Pets that will be Checked-in to travel in the Cargo Compartment
Interjet will transport dogs, cats, and domestic birds, as long as they are clean and enclosed in a proper kennel or approved pet carrier; and the passenger obtains all the required health and vaccination documents of entry or departure (to the country, state or territory) for the transportation of the animals.
Pets that will transported in the Passenger Cabin
Service dogs are allowed to travel onboard the cabin as long as the dog is accompanied by a passenger with special needs such as being visually impaired.
“Miniature”-sized cats or dogs will be allowed to be transported in the Passenger Cabin if considered to be an Animal for Emotional Support, where the Passenger needs to provide documentation stating that the pet is required for his/her emotional well-being. At the discretion of the Airline, the animal must be deemed as non-threatening to the flight operation or to the rest of the passengers and crew.
The passenger must obtain all the required health and vaccination documents for travel to another country, state or territory.
The pet must be enclosed in a proper kennel or approved pet carrier, which needs to be waterproof, enclosed, scratch-resistant and pliable (not hard plastic). The measurements of the pet carrier/kennel cannot exceed 40cm x 30cm x 23 cm (15.76in x 11.82in x 9.06in) and must be fit under the seat, where it shall remain during the entire flight time.
The pet cannot be sedated.
Only two (2) pets will be allowed in the Passenger Cabin per flight. Therefore it is recommended that flight accommodations are done in advance.
Maximum Weight and Height allowed per pet: 11 lbs. and 9.85 inches respectively. If the pet exceeds these dimensions, it will need to be checked-in to be transported in the cargo compartment.
The Airline reserves the right of determining if the animals to be transported, along with their kennel or pet carrier, food and accessories are considered as part of the maximum baggage allowance or if they constitute excess baggage, for which the Passenger will be required to pay the applicable charges.

Airports where at this time do not allow Pets in the Passenger Cabin are: Monterrey, Tampico, Ciudad Juarez and Hermosillo.

What is your budget allowance?
|
- For international travel the check-in baggage allowance is 50 kilos (110 lbs)
- For domestic travel is 25 kilos (52 lbs)

Can I bring musical instruments onboard?
|
| Yes, provided they can be stowed in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you. You can also purchase an adult fare ticket and place the instrument on it provided that the seat is next to you, that the instrument can be fastened, and that its linear dimensions do not exceed a total of 78.74 inches (height + width + length) and its weighs 66 lbs. or less.

I need a Wheelchair; do I need to ask for it in advance?

| It is not necessary; however, to better serve you we recommend that you take advantage of our Special Request form at the time of purchase and place the request.

Do you allow sporting equipment?
|
| Yes, as part of your baggage allowance, any excess weight would be charged the standard rate.

Do you have restrictions on carry-on items?
|
|
Yes. Dangerous goods, inflated balls and balloons, fishing rods, umbrellas, spears, darts, baseball bats, domestic tools, surgical instruments, glass, mirrors or other items which in the opinion of the company represents a danger to the aircraft or their passengers.

What items are not permitted to be transported as part of my luggage?

It is prohibited to carry on baggage::
- Articles or objects that the airline deems not to be properly packaged.
- Items or objects which in the opinion of the airline could endanger the aircraft, its crew or other passengers.
- Liquids and / or flammable gases (gasoline, paints, gas refills, fuel, oxygen).
- Firearms and explosives (ammunition, fireworks, signal flares, fireworks, cartridges).
- Industrial or household products (bleach, aerosols, mercury, and other solvents).
- Matches / Lighters.
- Corrosives (acids, wet batteries, etc) Irritants, magnetized, oxidants (as peroxide) and radioactive waste.
- Portfolios or cases with installed alarm mechanisms.
- Poisons.
- Products of avian origin (egg or any other). Also prohibited pack clothes, merchandise and other items in egg cartons for transportation.
